Spring 2018 Recruitment

Howdy, and welcome to Spring 2018 recruitment for the IFC fraternities of Texas A&M. My name is Gabriel Milunas, and as the current VP of Recruitment it is my job to coordinate rush and provide you with any guidance, advice, or answers you may need throughout this process.

To begin the recruitment process, simply register for a Greek Rush account. This can be accessed from the link on this page and registration costs only $30. This is the only fee required to participate in recruitment and it is advised that you register for Greek Rush as soon as possible. The next major step is to attend the mandatory IFC Recruitment Convocation in the Bethancourt Ballroom of the MSC on Sunday, January 14th. Check-in starts promptly at 10:30 am, with the event running from 11am-1pm. Each fraternity will be represented at the event and this is generally where fraternities pass out their event schedules for formal recruitment week. You cannot partake in recruitment without attending convocation. Formal recruitment week will start at 3pm the same day (January 14th) and run until Thursday, January 18th. Friday the 19th is bid pick-up day, which will run from 10am-4pm in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life located in the Koldus building directly across from the MSC.

Know that by deciding to rush a fraternity at Texas A&M, you are taking the first step in what has been a life-changing experience for myself along with countless others. With a consistently higher average GPA than the all-men’s average at Texas A&M, and with a strong and growing alumni network that only further expands upon the Aggie Network, joining an IFC fraternity is a decision that will help you succeed throughout college and beyond. However, it goes far deeper than these simple statistics. By joining an IFC fraternity you are gaining a group of brothers that will last a lifetime. Opportunities that you never expected will become available to you. This, in combination with the many other aspects of being an Aggie, will be an experience that you will never forget. With that, I strongly urge you to jump into the rush process wholeheartedly.

Thank you, and best of luck with your upcoming semester. Feel free to contact me at anytime with questions or concerns at recruitment@tamuifc.com.

Thank You,

Gabriel A. Milunas
